I’m Peta & welcome to the Rock Olive family where my goal is to bring you confidence & comfort with every piece of our clothing that you wear.💕

One night, I had a vivid dream — I saw three specific fabric designs so clearly that I woke up and wrote them down in the notes on my phone, describing every detail. I had never done anything like that before.

At the time, I was a single mum running a soy candle business, selling at markets, pop-up stalls in shopping centres, and through wholesale. Life was busy, creative, and full of hustle.

A few months later, I was on holiday in Indonesia with my daughter when I stumbled upon the most beautiful summer dresses I’d ever seen. The fabrics were vibrant, the colours rich, the textures cool and breathable — and the moment I tried one on, I felt like I was on holiday.

I bought as many as I could carry home — for myself, my sisters, and my girlfriends. That joy, that freedom, that confidence — I knew other women back home deserved to feel that too.

And that’s how Rock Olive was born. If your curious to know how came up with the name - my name Peta means ‘Rock’ & my daughters name is Olivia which means ‘Olive’.

When I met with a local manufacturer not long after, I couldn’t believe what I saw — the exact same three fabric designs from my dream were sitting on the table in front of me. It gave me goosebumps. That moment told me it was time to take a leap — from candles to clothing designed for real women, like me.

I started by introducing a few designs at my local markets — and they were a huge hit. From there, I expanded into shopping centres, eventually setting up shop at Burleigh Waters on the Gold Coast, where I proudly stayed for over five years.

As more women across Australia (and the world!) discovered Rock Olive, I began building a strong online presence. In 2019 I made the big shift — selling the store and going 100% online. Today, we operate out of our warehouse in Burleigh Heads, still proudly based on the Gold Coast.

My hope is that every woman — no matter her age — feels what I felt on that first holiday: ease, confidence, beauty, and freedom. Each Rock Olive piece is thoughtfully designed using breathable, high-quality fabrics, paired with curated accessories to help you feel your best — wherever life takes you.

Comfort and confidence is everything to me.
